Academic Rules and Regulation

The institution maintains a comprehensive code of conduct to ensure a disciplined and respectful academic environment for all students.

Code of Conduct for Students

  • It is mandatory for students to wear the college uniform when coming to the college.
  • It is mandatory to bring the identity card when coming to the college.
  • Students must not engage in any behavior, inside or outside the college premises, that disrupts the discipline, peace, and order of the college.
  • Attendance of everyone is required on the occasion of various college programs, and national festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day. Strict action will be taken against absent students.
  • It is the primary duty of everyone to respect the management, principal, professors, non-teaching staff, and distinguished guests, citizens, and parents visiting the college. Strict action will be taken against students who violate this.
  • It is mandatory to be present for every examination of the college.
  • If classes are not going on, students should not roam around in the corridors or campus. During free time, they should read magazines, newspapers, weeklies, and subject books in the library.
  • The information and content in the application form provided by the students availing various educational concessions shall be completely binding; if the concession is cancelled, it will be mandatory to pay the fees as per rules.
  • Students must not sit in the classes of subjects other than their own without the permission of the concerned professors.
  • Students should work towards enhancing the reputation and standard of the institution by observing character, discipline, humility, decency, and etiquette.
  • According to the government decision, if a student is found indulging in harassment/teasing, immediate police action will be taken.
  • If any controversial issue arises in the college, the decision of the Principal regarding it shall be binding on all.
  • College fees and other fines must be paid immediately. In case of any difficulty, a written application should be submitted to the Principal.
  • The names of students who behave in an undisciplined and indecent manner may be sent to their parents, and their admission can be cancelled.
  • Students should not demand anything more other than the facilities that are available at the time of taking admission to the college.
  • Students must present their complaints by themselves.

Rules of Conduct for Students

  • Students must comply with all types of instructions (special instructions/general instructions) issued by the Principal.
  • Students' behavior in the college, inside classrooms, and outside the campus must be good.
  • Students must behave respectfully with professors, staff members, and fellow students.
  • Students must carefully use college books, rooms, furniture, fans, laboratory equipment, and other materials.
  • Library books will be issued after admission and must be returned as per library rules.
  • Students taking sports equipment must return all materials within 15 days after completion of the event.
  • Students must check the Notice Board daily.
  • Students must return library books within the stipulated period.
  • Any change in local or permanent address must be informed to the college office.
  • Students must keep their identity card with them at all times.
  • No student shall publish any college-related matter without prior permission of the Principal.
  • Students must not establish any unions or associations within the college.

A) As per University directives, only the University Representative election is permitted.

B) No student union shall exist in Junior or Senior College.

  • Students must not participate in non-academic movements or destructive activities.
  • No programs other than sports and cultural festivals will be conducted in the college.
  • Students must not carry mobile phones, cameras, musical instruments, etc. without prior permission.

Principal's Authority

The Principal reserves the right to remove any student's name from the college rolls on the following grounds:

  1. Failure to clear college dues.
  2. Unsatisfactory behavior.
  3. Violation of college rules.

Fine

A general fine of Ôé╣100 will be recovered from each student for breaking or damaging furniture.
